Requirements MUST be highly proficient in clean, semantic, standards compliant HTML and CSS. In-depth understanding of all modern desktop(IE7+) and mobile based browsers is required. Clean, modern visual design styles preferred. If you have a diverse portfolio, please don’t hesitate to highlight these. Good communication and collaborations skills. We will need you to have strong opinions, as well as an open mind. Desirable We need designers who have the ability to think like a product manager, and work with engineers. Experience with mobile platforms is a plus, particularly with regards to mobile app interfaces and responsive web design. Ability to think and write code with flexibility and scalability in mind is highly desirable. Basic understanding of jQuery and/or other JavaScript libraries is a huge plus. Experience working with version control systems like Subversion or Git is beneficial. Candidates that stay current with the latest trends in UI and design are preferred. If you do not meet all of our requirements, please point out where your deficiencies are, and tell us why you’ll still be awesome at this job. At this stage, your portfolio will be the most important thing we consider. Please provide at least 3 samples of your best work. |
